REAL JOY (Poem)

There's food on my table
The woman by my side is beautiful
Everything I do people marvel
Wondering why I am always able.

But deep in me is a porthole
It may have been dug by the troll
I wish I could say I know
All I can wish for is to be whole.

Longing to have it filled
I searched the whole field
And then I met Him
In whom my salvation is.

I thought I had all
And love never seen in this world
But when I met my saviour
Then I knew real joy.
